Professional actor and headshot photographer Phil Ramirez is conducting the ACTING BIZ BOOT CAMP Saturday, February 14th at the Ramada Inn in Mandarin (Jacksonville, FL) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost of the workshop is $150. A $50 deposit is required at the time of registration, with the balance due NO LATER than Thursday, February 12th. Registration prior to the workshop is required as seating is limited to 30 students, so act fast!! Payments may be made online via PayPal (see shopping area below).
The goal of the Boot Camp is not to make you a great actor...
You should already be a great actor when you walk on the set. The purpose of this workshop is to help the actor or the parents of actors navigate the business side of the industry... everything from contracts and their terms to acting etiquette and how important it is to be a consistent performer when someone else's money is on the line.

Most importantly, he will give you the skills you need to appear like the professional you want to be by helping you avoid the mistakes and pitfalls of the unseasoned actor.
Phil brings over 20 years experience working both in front of and behind the cameras in the entertainment industry. He's worked for companies like Lorimar Productions, Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, Columbia Studios. As a performer, he's come out of the famed Second City working and producing shows for their Santa Monica theater. He has worked with such improv notables as Ryan Stiles, Colin Mocherie and Brad Sherwood ("Whose Line Is It Anyway"). He's also written scripts for the television shows "Davis Rules" with Jonathan Winters and "Star Trek: Voyager."
